On this week’s show Kate and I, along with Mallery Finch and Hannah Vail, searched for a snail hidden by Heidi Lambert. We have been hiding snails all over Stafford for people to find. It’s a fun little scavenger hunt for all to enjoy. Go to the LIVE with Kate & Kurt page on Facebook and follow the action. Check out the video below.
This might be the most entertaining show we’ve done. Poor Hillary sacrificed a lot for the entertainment of others. Kate made us do a “Jackass” type stunt and the results were brutal. We also got a tour of the Stafford Library by librarian Chris Franks. While we were there we got a glimpse of Kate and I in our high school yearbooks. We missed Tocka this week, sorry guys, but he will be back next week with a vengeance.
Also, we started a new activity and it seems to be a hit. Pictured above and our three snails, Gary, Snailford, and Kurt Snail. We will be hiding them throughout Stafford and leaving clues as to where to find them. If you find them, you will receive recognition and a small prize package. We are in the process of having t-shirts made. Go to the LIVE with Kate & Kurt page on Facebook for details. Watch the video below, I promise you will be rewinding to see the hits again and again!
Kate and I started a new and fun activity for our myStaffordSprings supporters, it’s called “Find the Snail” scavenger hunt. A snail, like the one pictured above, will be hidden somewhere in Stafford and it’s up to you to find it. Clues will be given, the first person to find the snail will win a prize package. This week’s prize is a Paradiso Insurance t-shirt and a $10 gift card to Middle Ground Cafe. All the info is available on Facebook on the LIVE with Kate & Kurt page. Here’s this week’s clues….
1. People gathered near where I am many years ago to have a good time.
2. You might need to wash your car after you find me.
3. I’m located in the item that Mary Poppins boyfriend cleaned.
Well as 2011 comes to an end I just want to say thank you to everyone that contributed to the Kate & Kurt show. I never thought it would last this long, but I look forward to 2012 as the show is going to keep improving. I would like to thank Chris Paradiso for making this all possible but I would especially like to thank my very special friend, Kate Pisciotta who dedicates countless hours every week to filming, editing, and coming up with ideas for the show and maintaining the MyStaffordSprings website anf Facebook pages. Check out the amazing video below that she put together highlighting our shows from 2011. Enjoy and we’ll see you next year!
This week’s Kate & Kurt Show brought us back to where it all started, Middle Ground Cafe, for episode number 28. We have a new logo thanks to our friends @ Astonish Results, so I did a quick blog showcasing it and added a little poll to see who people liked the best on our show. The results as of 3:00pm on the 9th are: 477 total votes Kate 256, Kurt 177 (thank you), Tocka 21, Hillary 12, Dr. Dutton 11.
