Kate and I had the privilege of shooting our show from Shark Cycle in downtown Stafford Springs on Thursday. Their selection of new and used recreational vehicles is endless! Check out the video below. There is a lot of town news, many birthdays, and even our attempt at the Harlem Shake. We are orchestrating a huge Town of Stafford Harlem Shake around the rotary downtown. Stay tuned and check us out on Facebook for all the details —-> LIVE with Kate & Kurt. While your there like the page. See you next week.
After a six month layoff, Kate and I shot the first show of 2013 from J&D’s Pub on Main St. in beautiful downtown Stafford Springs. This morning, we shot a new show that will be out tomorrow, we walked up and downtown Main St, talking about all the businesses briefly. Tune in for that video tomorrow and check out our first video of 2013 below.
The third annual Stafford Winterfest Parade is going to be held on Sunday December 16, 2012! Do not miss the festivities, which include hot chocolate, cookies, music, many floats, an appearance by the big guy himself, and much, much more. The parade kicks off at 2PM at Olympic Field and continues through Main St, concluding at the town hall where refreshments will be served as well Christmas carols sung by the Stafford High chorus.
This parade is what motivated Kate, Chris, and myself to start MyStaffordSprings.com. The first year was very good, last year was great, and this should be outstanding as all the shops on Main St will be involved. Last year Kate and I had the privilege of announcing the parade, this year I think I’ll be riding on the Stafford Youth Football float celebrating another amazing year.
For more information on the parade or how to enter a float, go to the Community & Civic Affairs Commission’s page on Facebook page. You can also contact Cindy Kabel @ (860)604-1509.
Below is an awesome video taken and edited by Kate Pisciotta of the first annual Winterfest Parade in 2010, check it out!

Hello all, it’s been a long time since I last blogged, that’s all going to change. With exciting new things happening in Stafford we are going to have tons of interesting topics for myStaffordSprings and the LIVE with Kate & Kurt Show. Come down to our office at 4 East Main St and say “Hi”. Let us know what’s going on so that we can share it with the community! Email us @ email@example.com. Shooting the Kate & Kurt show today, so I will be blogging about it and uploading it tonight. I am also looking forward to the upcoming racing season at Stafford Motor Speedway.
This week’s episode is dedicated to Tocka for his upcoming 65th birthday, Happy Birthday Tocka. Dance Break with Hillary was as crazy and entertaining as ever. We were adding a new prank call segment this week as requested by someone who watches the show, which we did and it was quite entertaining, but then they got cold feet and chickened out on letting us air the call. So we had to take that part out and there is no real theme to this show. You should watch anyways because there is a lot of news including an All-State football player and some local events. Check it out.
Well as 2011 comes to an end I just want to say thank you to everyone that contributed to the Kate & Kurt show. I never thought it would last this long, but I look forward to 2012 as the show is going to keep improving. I would like to thank Chris Paradiso for making this all possible but I would especially like to thank my very special friend, Kate Pisciotta who dedicates countless hours every week to filming, editing, and coming up with ideas for the show and maintaining the MyStaffordSprings website anf Facebook pages. Check out the amazing video below that she put together highlighting our shows from 2011. Enjoy and we’ll see you next year!
Sorry, but Kate and I will not be shooting a video this week and more-than-likely not next week either. I thought I’d take this opportunity to show four of my favorite Kate & Kurt videos, check them out below. Also, I’d like to get your opinion, let us know which one you like the best, please fill out the poll. I personally would like to wish all my friends and family a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all my Jewish friends.
