As many of you know, I am a very proud father. I’d just like to introduce my children to you all that don’t know them and keep friends and family that I don’t see often updated as they progress through life.
On July 23, 1999, I became a father and life has never been the same. Very early that morning my daughter Hannah was born and brought instant joy to our lives. She is now 14 years old and is a freshman at East Catholic High School. She is a good student making Honor Roll during her last marking period. Hannah plays field hockey for her school team. She, also, has been studying several dance techniques since she was five years old at Dance Visions here in Stafford. She’s a little shy in public and she is very polite and a pleasure to have around for both me and her mother.
On April 27, 2001, my son Noah was born. Noah Vail, get it? If I could have drawn up a blue print of what I wanted in a son, there would not be one thing that I would change. He is confident, polite, helpful, and always happy. He plays football in the fall, wrestles during winter, and lacrosse in the spring. Noah’s heart, hard work, desire, and attitude make him a pleasure to coach. Noah is, also, a very good student, he has made Honor Roll every marking period this year including High Honors once as well.
On November 15, 2005, Sarah Grace Vail came into our lives. She is energetic, funny, very smart, absolutely gorgeous, and is always giving her dad a run for his money! She plays soccer and also does several dances at Dance Visions. She loves spending time with her family, especially “Grammy”, they are like two peas in a pod. She reminds me of Shirley Temple or the girl from the Coppertone ad, her big smile lights up the room. She makes her father very proud. Sarah is a great “big sister” to her younger sister Vivian.
On March 25, 2010 the beautiful Vivian Vail (don’t google it!!) graced us with her presence. She is energetic, curious, wise beyond her years and the pride of her older siblings! She is also the center of attention where ever she goes. Vivian is very active as well, she does gymnastics and takes swimming lessons. She plans on taking dance next year too. I’ve never had a four-year-old make me laugh as much as Viv does. Both Mom and Dad are blessed to have her in our lives.
I am honored and privileged to have them in my life! To my kids..I love you very much and will always be proud of you. If you took the time to read this…thank you.
